Cruise technology provider MXP has introduced a new onboard communication feature within its MXP365 digital platform, enabling guests to stay connected during their voyage.
The system enables one-to-one and group chats through the MXP mobile app or web portal, allowing passengers to coordinate plans, share information, and remain in contact throughout the cruise. Guests receive real-time notifications of new messages and can create private chat groups for families or travel companions.
The chat service is also available through MXP iTV, allowing guests to view and continue conversations directly from their cabin televisions.
MXP365 forms part of the wider MXP Digital Guest Journey, available as both a cloud-based and on-premises solution. The platform integrates multiple guest-facing systems – including the app, web portal, self-ordering kiosks, digital signage, and iTV – into a single interface for communication and service management.
