MSC Cruises has revealed details of its entertainment options onboard MSC World Europa, which will be named on 13 November in Doha, Qatar.

The cruise line aims to entertain guests of all ages with three new concert-style shows in its Luna Park Arena, five full-scale theatre productions within its World Theatre and four themed experiences in the Panorama Lounge.

During the day, the Luna Park Arena will host films, game shows, activities for children and different themed parties. The concert-style shows will then take place during the evenings and include ‘Symphonic Ibiza’, a DJ-themed disco night; ‘Supershow’, a Korean pop music show with street dancers, acrobats and vocalists; and ‘Crimson Club’, a film-themed stunt show.

The theatre shows, hosted at the World Theatre, will focus on exploration, travel, the sea, and sustainability. They include ‘Eko’ with costumes made from recycled material; the original ‘Amelia Earhart’ show with an e-bike stunt wheel; ‘A Night on Broadway’, featuring classic theatre show tunes; ‘Cadmo The Landwalker’; and ‘Yellow Submarine’, a circus and magical elements show based on songs by The Beatles.

Furthermore, the Panorama Lounge will feature music-themed experiences for pre-show drinks, including an interactive floor. During the day, guests will be able to project their own drawings onto interactive screens, while at night they can participate in 90-minute-long dance shows and learn how to dance samba, tango, waltz and disco. This venue will also showcase live music, aerialists and acrobats, as well as transforming into a night-club style area later in the evenings.

“The brand-new interactive entertainment featured onboard MSC World Europa will be unlike anything that our guests have ever experienced, combining futuristic technology and unique specially designed venues,” said Steve Leatham, global head of entertainment at MSC Cruises. “From surprise moments that will take place during the entirety of the cruise to spectacular shows and state-of the-art venues, our guests will be blown away by the abundance of fantastic entertainment options onboard as they find themselves at the heart of productions and immerse themselves in incredible performances and activities.”

Other onboard entertainment options include The Venom Drop @ The Spiral, a dry slide that spans 11 decks, alongside roller discos, bingo, football-themed challenges and pop-up entertainment.
