The Chora Theatre onboard MSC Seascape will showcase six new productions
MSC Cruises has developed new onboard entertainment offerings for its upcoming ship MSC Seascape, including six new productions designed for its Chora Theatre.
The Chora Theatre will host shows including an ocean-themed production of ‘Imaginocean’ with aerial and flying acts, aquatic animal puppetry, vocalists and dancers, as well as ‘Dreamscape’, which will showcase circus performers, dancers and singers.
Rock music classics will be showcased within ‘In Concert’, whilst ‘Premier’ will be based around a range of movie genres and ‘Shall We Dance’ will involve a variety of dance styles including Latin, ballroom and contemporary.
In addition, ‘Love Blooms’ will be a collaboration between vocalists, dancers and circus artists about the journey of love.
“MSC Seascape is an exciting new addition to our Seaside Class of ships with some of the most remarkable entertainment options that our guests have ever seen,” said Steve Leatham, global head of entertainment at MSC Cruises. “Inspired by New York City, which is home to world-famous Broadway shows and musical productions, MSC Seascape features spectacular new shows and full-scale productions that will dazzle all our guests. These new top-notch entertainment options will take our onboard experience to the next level with superb performers, gorgeous stage design and excellent production quality.”
The ship will also feature Le Cabaret Rouge, a lounge inspired by 1920s French-cabaret that will host 21 thematic nights, and the popular duelling pianos concept from sister ship MSC Seashore.
Thrill-seeking guests will be able to experience the line’s first-ever Robotron ride, a rafting and Formula Racer virtual simulator and an interactive XD cinema.
MSC Seascape will be named in New York in early December 2022 and will operate in the Caribbean from Miami, Florida, during its maiden season.
