MSC Cruises’ first Meraviglia-Plus class ship MSC Grandiosa successfully completed her first sea trials in the Atlantic Ocean between 28-31 August.

Following the intensive systems tests, the 6,334-guest ship returned to the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in Saint Nazaire, France for final works ahead of her scheduled delivery on 31 October.

MSC Grandiosa will be christened on 9 November in Hamburg, Germany. The ship will then head to her homeport in Genoa, Italy to sail a series of Western Mediterranean cruises to Civitavecchia and Palermo in Italy; Valletta; Malta; Barcelona, Spain; and Marseilles, France.
