MSC Cruises is to introduce its ‘ship within a ship’ experience, MSC Yacht Club, on its 3,223-guest MSC Magnifica, which will enter drydock for refurbishment in late 2025.

MSC Yacht Club offers passengers keycard-only access to private facilities, 24-hour butler and concierge service, an exclusive restaurant, lounge, pool and sundeck. The area features 63 suites across five types, including rooms with family-friendly connected balconies and the luxurious Royal Suite with private whirlpool.

Following refurbishment, MSC Magnifica will include two new specialty restaurants: Butcher’s Cut steakhouse and Kaito Sushi Bar. The ship will also offer a sauna with sea views, two steam rooms, a salt room, Kneipp path and 10 treatment rooms in the new MSC Aurea Spa. The ship will also feature an upgraded Technogym fitness centre with indoor workout areas and dedicated yoga and spinning studios.

From January 2027, the newly refurbished ship will sail a 121-night cruise to 45 destinations in 25 countries in Europe, Africa, South America, Oceania and North America. The voyage includes a transit through the Panama Canal, as well as overnight stays in destinations including Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Buenos Aires and Ushuaia in Argentina; Valparaíso, Chile; Papeete in French Polynesia; Honolulu, Hawaii; and Hobart and Sydney in Australia.
