MSC Cruises is carrying out fleet-wide enhancements to its Aurea Spa experience throughout the year to create one of the “most extensive wellness facilities” at sea.
New offerings will include IV therapy, aesthetic treatments, Japanese head spa rituals, medical wellness services, artificial intelligence-powered skin analysis, advanced skincare technologies and professional teeth whitening.
Some highlights of the guest experience will include the use of hydro-microdermabrasion technology and premium skincare solutions by Opatra London, scalp consultations for men, therapeutic massage treatments and a curated menu of restorative teas by Team Dr Joseph, which will be available before and after treatments.
The expansion of its wellness facility represents a “global shift” in the travel industry, with wellness tourism becoming one of the fastest growing sectors, according to MSC Cruises.

Selected MSC Aurea Spa guests will also receive premium wellness kits featuring products and amenities such as flip-flops, shaving kits and other wellness essentials.
