MSC Cruises’ vessel, MSC Grandiosa, will operate solely on the Norwegian fjords for the 2022 summer season, having suspended calls to St Petersburg, Russia, due to the current political situation.
Sailing from Kiel, Germany, MSC Grandiosa will call at Copenhagen, Denmark, before sailing through the Norwegian fjords for a seven-night itinerary. Ports of call will include Hellesylt, to explore the area of Sunnylvsfjorden; Alesund, sailing through Aurlandsfjord; and Flåm.
MSC Preziosa and MSC Poesia will also offer additional seven-night itineraries to the Norwegian fjords. Both vessels have also suspended calls to St Petersburg and will instead be calling at Visby in Gotland; Stockholm, Sweden; or Tallinn, Estonia.
Other vessels sailing Norwegian fjord cruises for summer 2022 include MSC Magnifica from Hamburg, Germany, and MSC Virtuosa from Southampton, UK.
