German shipbuilding company Meyer Werft is to float out Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Encore on 17 August. The 4,004-passenger ship will leave the building dock but remain at the shipyard for onboard outfitting to take place.
Onboard trials of the 169,145gt, 334-metre-long vessel will also take place at the shipyard before she travels through the Ems to the North Sea for sea trials. This is expected to take place at the end of September.
