UK-based company Live Business is to provide entertainment services onboard all ferries in Brittany Ferries’ fleet from January 2019.

Live Business will collaborate with Brittany Ferries to create a new entertainment model that incorporates digital innovations and is tailored to the tastes and preferences of its passengers. In addition, its in-house team of animators, illustrators and graphic designers will develop bespoke digital content that incorporates customised international animations and interactive live models.

“We are delighted to partner with Brittany Ferries on this exciting new venture, a company that holds many similar brand values to ours such as environmental sustainability and operating with a responsible global footprint code of ethics,” said Dan Lock, co-owner of Live Business. “We aim to evolve the entertainment programme towards a rapidly expanding digital age that puts Brittany Ferries at the very forefront of digital innovation at sea.

Live Business will also work closely with the onboard personnel to ensure that the new entertainment programme delivers on its promise to significantly enhance the passenger experience.

“By proposing cost-effective, full turnkey technical solutions to operators, our company is able to assess each vessel’s digital requirements and offer a design, installation, and management platform that not only enhances customer satisfaction levels, but also proves to be a genuine motivator for repeat travel,” said Lock. “This in turn creates a positive chain of events by enhancing revenue and brand awareness which, of course, is of significant importance to any business.”

Brittany Ferries is one of a series of passenger shipping companies to partner with Live Business. The company has delivered entertainment services for operators in the luxury cruise sector and passenger ferry markets for more than 20 years.

“When we initially entered into discussions with Brittany Ferries, we were able to align the Live Business company mission statement of ‘Creativity, Innovation and Integrity’ with the future Brittany Ferries’ brand positioning and beliefs,” said Mark Dixon, co-owner of Live Business. “Brittany Ferries reveals the fabulous holiday destinations around the coastlines of the European West and the entertainment its travellers experience has to match these extraordinary locations. Having held extensive supplier accounts within the ferry industry for over 20 years, we now embark on an exciting future with Brittany Ferries by being able to offer a distinct programme that further establishes the brand’s strong beliefs and individuality as one of the market-leading operators within the ferry sector.”
