Retailers Lacoste and Carolina Herrera are to open their first at-sea boutiques onboard Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Escape when she launches this November.

The Lacoste boutique will offer a wide assortment of clothing items, including signature polos, t-shirts, dresses, skirts, footwear and accessories, while the Carolina Herrera boutique will sell hand-selected luxury products, including handbags, leather goods, pashminas, scarves, jewellery, footwear and accessories. Also exclusive to Norwegian Escape will be Ulysse Nardin watches and a hand-picked collection of Columbian Emeralds.

Norwegian Escape will also sell products from other well known brands such as Hublot, Bvlgari, Tissot and Uno de 50.

“These exclusive boutiques from two legendary fashion industry icons add further glamour to one of the most exciting cruise ships ever built,” said Andy Stuart, Norwegian Cruise Line’s president and COO. “Lacoste and Carolina Herrera will offer Norwegian Escape guests a shopping experience unlike any at sea.”

Currently under construction at Meyer Werft in Germany, Norwegian Escape will be the largest ship in Norwegian’s fleet and will offer Norwegian Escape will also offer various industry firsts, sports and water park facilities, private dining options, and new dining and bar concepts. Entertainment options will include two Tony Award-winning Broadway musicals headlining in the Escape Theater, and an exclusive Supper Club offering that enables guests to enjoy dinner and a 360° post-modern cabaret. In addition, documentaries produced by the Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation will be shown in staterooms to educate guests about marine conservation.

Guests can stay in the line’s signature luxury ship–within-a-ship complex – The Haven by Norwegian – as well as solo traveller studios, and various accommodations for families, multi-generational groups, spa enthusiasts and more.

From 14 November 2015, the 164,600gt Norwegian Escape will be the largest cruise ship to homeport year-round in Miami, US, where she will offer weekly seven-day cruises to the eastern Caribbean. Destinations on her itineraries include St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands; Tortola, British Virgin Islands; and Nassau, Bahamas.
