Karl Pojer, CEO of Hapag-Lloyd Cruises, has been named chairman of the Leadership Council of the German branch of the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA).
In his new role, Pojer will support CLIA Germany’s efforts to become the central point of contact and source of information for Germany’s cruise sector.
“I am honoured by the trust the cruise industry has placed in me and would like to thank my colleagues for recommending me for this great opportunity,” said Pojer. “I will work hard to reflect and achieve CLIA Germany’s priorities and vision.”
