Luxury brands join sales team to increase stake in growing UK market
HAL and Seabourn sales merge

Holland America Line (HAL) and Seabourn have announced that they are to merge sales teams in a bid to expand Carnival’s share of the UK luxury market.

The decision, which has necessitated an executive reshuffle, will mean that Lynn Narraway, Seabourn UK managing director, will continue as head of Seabourn including the combined HAL team, which will be based at Carnival’s Southampton offices.

The restructure, which technically comes into place on 1 December, will mean a move of offices, from London to Southampton, on 1 April – a 30-day consultation period has started for those employees facing the prospect of relocation.

“It’s part of a global strategy,” said Narraway. “We see opportunities to grow both Holland America and Seabourn in the UK especially for those agents who specialise in luxury not selling Seabourn at the moment.”
