Cruise port operator Global Ports Holding (GPH) is seeking a partner to manage duty-free and travel retail operations at four of its ports: Cagliari and Catania, Italy; Malaga, Spain; and Zadar, Croatia.

Cagliari Cruise Port, situated on the island of Sardinia, is ideally located for a range of cruise itineraries with the Iberian coast to the west, the Italian coast to the east, and the North African coast to the South. Further south, Catania Cruise Port is located on Sicily’s north-east coast at a crossroad of major Mediterranean cruise itineraries and offers transit, interporting and homeporting operations.

Málaga Cruise Port lies on the southern coast of Spain and marks the gateway to Andalusia. It connects with routes to the Atlantic and the Mediterranean.

Zadar Cruise Port is at the historical centre of Dalmatia, Croatia. With a modern highway network and proximity to the airport, the port offers transit and turnaround operations.

GPH welcomes proposals to operate any, or all, of the duty-free and travel retail spaces across the ports on a seven-year lease. This includes a transition and construction period and the successful bidder will be responsible for building and creating the new store and concession spaces.

Applicants are encouraged to register their interest by 1 August 2019 and present a proposal for a unique, creative and customer-focused duty-free or duty-paid travel retail programme.
