The first-ever Sustainable Design Summit has opened for visitor registration, with designers and customer experience professionals from across the aviation, hotel and cruise sectors being invited to attend.

Visitors will be able to participate in roundtable discussions, conference sessions and breakout talks. The agenda features a keynote talk, ‘One Planet, One Mission: Tackling Common Challenges’, which will identify the sustainability challenges that the aviation, hotel and cruise sectors have in common. Breakout sessions will include ‘Circular Design 101’, ‘Colour, Material and Finish’, and ‘Sustainability Infrastructure: Ratings, Tools & Tech’. The event will also allow delegates to explore industry-specific challenges through sector breakouts.

Speakers at the conference will include Luke Pearson, co-founder and director of design firm Pearson Lloyd; Thomas Westergaard, vice president of Hurtigruten Expeditions; and Bryan Liska, director of design for Latin America and the Caribbean at hotel company Hilton.

The conference, hosted by Elite Exhibitions, will take place at The Brewery in London on 29 November 2022.
