Fincantieri has reached a key construction milestone with the launch of Seven Seas Prestige at its Marghera shipyard in Italy, the first of two next-generation ultra-luxury cruise ships being built for Regent Seven Seas Cruises.
Delivery Seven Seas Presitge is scheduled for 2026, with the second vessel planned for 2030. Fincantieri and Regent Seven Seas Cruises also signed an additional order for another ultra-luxury cruise ship in November, scheduled for delivery in 2033.
Seven Seas Prestige has a gross tonnage of 76,550 tons, a length of 257 meters and capacity for 822 guests in 411 suites. The ship will feature new accommodation categories, expanded dining options and a range of guest services, along with environmental technologies integrated into the design.
Fincantieri has previously delivered the Explorer series of vessels for Regent Seven Seas Cruises, including Seven Seas Explorer in 2016, Seven Seas Splendor in 2020 and Seven Seas Grandeur in 2023, built at the Sestri Ponente and Ancona shipyards.
