Digital booking platform Ferryhopper is expanding its UK network thanks to new partnerships with Brittany Ferries and Red Funnel.

Passengers can use Ferryhopper to search and book selected Brittany Ferries and Red Funnel routes for cross-Channel, UK to Spain and Isle of Wight connections.

The new partnerships have been put in place to provide more flexibility for passengers travelling with vehicles.

Brittany Ferries will operate 13 vessels on year-round routes between Portsmouth, Plymouth and Poole and French ports, including Caen, St Malo, Cherbourg and Le Havre. It will also provide year-round – and seasonal – services between UK and Spanish ports, including Bilbao and Santander.

Red Funnel ferries will operate five vessels on year-round routes between Southampton, UK and East Cowes and West Cowes in the Isle of Wight.

“By welcoming Brittany Ferries and Red Funnel to our platform, we are giving travellers more ways to plan and book their journeys across the UK and Europe,” said Christos Spatharakis, CEO and co-founder of Ferryhopper. “Whether they are driving to France for the weekend, taking the family further into Spain or crossing to the Isle of Wight, they can discover, compare and book their journey in one place. This is just the beginning of what we want to build across Europe.”
