Europe’s cruise interior industry is set to meet at Cruise Ship Interiors Expo Europe (CSIE) on 1-2 December at the ExCeL convention centre in London, UK, for two days of networking, product sourcing and conference sessions.

Among the highlights of the conference will be the Reunion Party on 30 November, which will take place at the O2 in London and welcome visitors, exhibitors, sponsors and partners. On 1 December the day will end with the Happy Hour, open to everyone attending CSIE. Finally, the event will come to an end with the second annual Cruise Ship Interiors Awards, supported by global headline sponsor Kalmar, which will celebrate leadership, innovation and teamwork in the industry.

Cruise Lines including MSC Cruises, Disney Cruise Line and P&O Cruise Line will attend the event, joining shipbuilders such as Fincantieri, Meyer Werft and Chantiers de l’Atlantique. Among the 200 exhibitors will be design studios De Jorio Design, YSA Design, SMC Design, Oliver Design, Naval Interiors Team and Fincantieri’s Marine Interiors.

Over 60 per cent of the exhibitors will be new to the show, with debutants including Italian rug manufacturer Loloey, which will feature its new collaboration with designer Kelly Hoppen, and furniture designer Rossin, which will showcase its range of modular seating.

Outfitter Trimline will provide a private demonstration of its new Trimline app at its stand, demonstrating its ability to offer its clients continual live access to their refit progress and all documentation. Flooring specialists Bolidt, meanwhile, will announce the winner of the Bolidt Design Challenge 2021, which offered the chance for entrants to send in their concepts for resin-based floor and wall coverings, artworks and other interior elements.

Alongside the exhibition will be the Cruise Conversations Live conference, which will take place across both days of the show. Speakers including Andy Yuill of SMC Design, Anne Mari Gullikstad of YSA Design and Iina Forsblom of Tillberg Design of Sweden will discuss topics such as sustainability, budget and accessibility, with sessions ranging from ‘100 Ways to Blow A Budget’ to ‘Creating a Cruise Experience Which is Accessible to All’.
