Elite Exhibitions has released details for its Cruise Conversations Live programme at Cruise Ship Interiors Expo Europe (CSIE), which will take place on 30 November to 1 December 2022 at the London ExCeL, UK.
The programme will provide cruise line executives, interior designers and outfitters with learning opportunities through conference sessions, as well as workshops that will explore the specific challenges for the cruise ship interior design industry.

The keynote conference, titled ‘The Modern Shipyard’, will highlight how shipyards can add value to newbuild and refurbishment projects and how they can combine reference ship requirements with innovation. The session will be moderated by Vesa Uuttu, director of newbuild and innovation at Royal Caribbean Group, and will offer insights from Bas Loohuis, commercial director of maintenance and upgrade services for cruise at Damen Shipyard, and Petteri Heimo, head of hotel outfitting at Meyer Turku.
Workshops will include ‘Marine Design 101: How to Break into the Marine Market’, which will be led by Beatrice Siri, assistant vice president of architectural outfitting in Europe at Royal Caribbean Group, as well as others.
Attendees that are interested in future investments will benefit from keynote session ‘The Futurist: Cruise Design in 2030’ and conference session ‘Young Designers: Designing for Gen Z and Beyond’.
