Effy Jewelry, a US diamond and gemstone jewellery brand, is due to open standalone stores onboard three Princess cruise ships.

From November, passengers on Caribbean Princess, Emerald Princess and Island Princess will be able to shop in the new stores, which will feature a selection of specially curated jewellery.

Effy is also creating a limited edition, exclusive onboard collection to mark Princess Cruises’ 50th anniversary starting next month.

“I am very pleased to be showcasing my latest designs onboard Princess Cruises,” said Effy Hematian, founder and owner of Effy Jewelry. “I am truly inspired by the partnership, and I am looking forward to creating new and innovative jewellery for Princess guests.”

Princess Cruises has also recently introduced a new online Honeymoon Wishes Registry. The site allows couples to sign up on the line’s honeymoon registry page, select desired gifts and experiences for their cruise vacation, and share the list with family and friends.

Couples can choose from a list of options, including contributions to the cruise, drinks by the pool, speciality dining, relaxing spa treatments and shore excursions. All gifts are applied as credit to the couple’s stateroom account to use during their honeymoon cruise.

“Our new online Honeymoon Wishes Registry feature gives newlyweds a simple way to customise their honeymoon cruise and select their desired amenities to enjoy onboard,” said Jan Swartz, Princess Cruises’ president. “For the last 16 years, we’ve made wedding dreams come true with our unique weddings at sea programme and this new offering is a wonderful extension to give couples ease and flexibility in creating their own gift registries.”
