Disney Cruise Line’s Disney Wish is to feature the Wish Tower Suite, a penthouse situated in the forward funnel of the ship, when she debuts in summer 2022.

“Each of our theme parks has a majestic icon that captures our guests’ imaginations,” said Laura Cabo, portfolio creative executive at Walt Disney Imagineering. “On a Disney cruise ship, that beacon of magic is our signature red funnels. For the first time ever, guests onboard the Disney Wish will be able to book an incredible two-storey suite that’s actually located within one of our funnels. With the Wish Tower Suite, we are creating a breathtaking experience that continues our tradition of the most unique and enchanting accommodations at sea.”

The design of the Wish Tower Suite has been inspired by Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Moana, celebrating the spirit of the sea. The space will feature a palette of calm blues, soft whites and deep corals, while ornaments and custom artwork will include references to the characters and locales of the film. This will include a hand-crafted porcelain statue of the Heart of Te Fiti, an ancient gem featured in the film, which will pulse with green light while chimes recalling the film’s soundtrack play when guests arrive back at the suite.

It will accommodate up to eight guests in 1,966-square-feet of living space, including two main bedrooms with king-sized beds, walk-in closets and floor-to-ceiling windows looking out over the living area below. The suite will also feature a children’s room, a library that converts to a bedroom, and four and a half bathrooms. The living room will be flanked by and open dining area, a pantry and a bar, all of which will have views across the upper decks through a two-storey window wall.

Guests will have access to a personal concierge team during their stay and receive a range of curated experiences, daily treats and the use of a private elevator. They will also have VIP access to the concierge lounge and sun deck with two whirlpools, a wading pool, a bar, lush lounge furniture and the service of a pool deck host.

Disney Wish will sail its maiden voyage on 9 June 2022, followed by a series of three- and four-night cruises to Nassau, Bahamas, and Disney’s private island Castaway Cay, from Port Canaveral, Florida.
