Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship Disney Treasure is to feature the Haunted Mansion Parlor, a bar inspired by Disney’s Haunted Mansion film series and theme park attraction.
The Haunted Mansion Parlor has been designed to resemble a drawing room of a classic cruise liner, inspired by the original Haunted Mansion film with a nautical twist. The room will be decorated with the wallpaper and purple armchair from the film, along with tributes to Haunted Mansion attractions around the world. Several characters from the original Disney Parks attractions, along with some new introductions, will also appear in a portrait gallery depicting the Disney Treasure’s ghostly residents.
The bar will serve a selection of ghost-themed cocktails inspired by the Haunted Mansion. Sympathetic Libations will mix sour cherry and blood orange flavours in a specialty tiki mug, while Ghoulish Delight will combine ube fudge, oat milk and tapioca pearls into a glittery purple concoction, garnished with a gummy eyeball. The Signature Beverage, meanwhile, will be a twist on a classic margarita presented amid flavoured smoke. The drink will be topped with a lemon salt foam and contain a secret message that can only be revealed by black light.
Disney Treasure will also offer a new merchandise collection featuring an array of Haunted Mansion-inspired homewares and souvenirs. The Haunted Mansion Parlor Music Box is a keepsake inspired by an eerie music box found inside the bar. The Haunted Mansion Parlor clock recalls the grandfather clock from the original Disney Parks attraction, while ghosts will occasionally appear in the frame of the Haunted Mansion Parlor Mirror.
The Haunted Mansion Parlor is one of several Disney Parks-inspired venues that will debut onboard Disney Treasure. The lineup will also include Skipper Society, a lounge inspired by the Jungle Cruise parks attraction, and Periscope Pub, a tribute to the 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea attraction.
