The Decarbonizing Shipping Forum, which is organised by ALJ Group, will take place from 22-23 June 2026 in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

The seventh edition of the event will bring together experts, policymakers and key stakeholders from the shipping industry to discuss decarbonisation strategies, challenges and solutions for a more sustainable maritime sector. There will also be opportunities for attendees to discover the latest green technologies, alternative fuels, regulatory frameworks and more.

The speaker programme will explore trends, geopolitical complexities, evolving shipping market dynamics, carbon footprint reduction and management, decarbonisation strategies, and port infrastructure and ecosystems. It will feature discussions and presentations from speakers including Bud Darr, president and CEO of Cruise Lines International Association; Jacob Hjerrild Zeuthen, head of fuel technologies, and Julian Pueschel, senior product manager, from Maersk; Gerry Larsson-Fedde, deputy CEO at Hurtigruten Norway; and Arun Sankar, director, commercial and strategic development for Northern Europe at Columbia Group, as well as many others.

The event will also provide networking opportunities to enable attendees to engage and share insights for the future of sustainable shipping.
