CSI: Reuniting the cruise ship interiors industry

By Rebecca Gibson |

Cruise Ship Interiors Expo America (CSI) returns to the Miami Beach Convention Center from 28-29 October 2021. Taking place across one show floor, CSI will reunite the entire cruise interiors supply chain for the first time since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.

More than 300 exhibitors will showcase their products and solutions on the show floor, including everything from innovative materials and outdoor attractions developed by well-known companies, as well as new products from new-to-cruise suppliers. They will be joined by numerous cruise brands, design studios, outfitters and shipyards at the event.

“After over a year without face-to-face meetings and no in-person conferences, we and the entire cruise interiors supply chain are excited to reunite, meet and learn together,” said Toby Walters, CEO of CSI, noting that the event will follow Covid-19 best practices outlined in global health recommendations at the time it takes place.

To celebrate the cruise interiors design industry reuniting, the CSI schedule will also offer networking events across both days. CSI will bring its popular Cruise Conversations webinar series to the stage at the conference, inviting industry leaders to discuss key topics, such as how interior design can be used to help reinvigorate the cruise industry.

Cruise Conversations will launch with the much anticipated Leaders’ Debate, in which a panel of the community’s biggest names will meet to discuss the outlook of the cruise interiors industry. Recognising the increasingly close relationship of cruise ship interiors design and operations, CSI will be co-located with Cruise Ship Hospitality Expo America.
