Crystal Serenity will enter a three-week drydock in October 2026 for a refit of its Aquamarine Classic suites and public spaces.
The existing layout of suites and bathrooms will be preserved while enhancements are added to reflect the style incorporated during the vessel’s 2023 transformation. The corridors on deck 10 – where the Aquamarine Classic suites are located – will feature new carpet and wallpaper.
A new pool bar will be added on deck 12 as an addition to the Seahorse Pool, allowing guests to enjoy refreshments and service without needing to leave the pool area.
Updates to the ship’s public spaces will include a new marble dance floor and stage at the Atrium and Crystal Cove, the ship’s central gathering space. This venue will also feature a De Castelli mosaic, as tribute to the design installed aboard Crystal Symphony during its 2025 drydock, and an elevated and backlit reception area with a marble top.
Other public space enhancements will include reupholstered and renovated chairs at the Waterside Restaurant and Marketplace, new tables and chandeliers at Stardust Club, and new furniture at the Seahorse Pool.
“Following the successful drydock of Crystal Symphony, our work aboard Crystal Serenity is guided first and foremost by the guest experience,” said Bernie Leypold, senior vice president of hotel operations at Cystal. “These enhancements underscore our commitment to creating meaningful, memorable experiences for our guests at every touchpoint, while ensuring that Crystal Serenity continues to feel as welcoming and enriching as the journeys themselves.”
A series of technical upgrades will also be carried out to help reduce fuel and water consumption, lower emissions, reduce environmental impact and improve the overall onboard experience. The upgrades include work on the propulsion line and fin stabilisers, extensive cleaning of the hull, electrical and automation upgrades of the ship’s onboard systems, and installation of new sound and entertainment systems.
The ship is scheduled to resume service on 8 November 2026 with a 15-day Transatlantic sailing from Lisbon, Portugal, to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where it will begin its Caribbean season.
