Crystal is to introduce multiple family and outdoor spaces onboard its newest all-suite, all-veranda ship, Crystal Grace, which will debut in summer 2028.
The 650-guest vessel, which was designed by architecture firm GEM, will feature interiors coordinated by Studio Ibsen and be constructed by Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri. The ship will offer several new spaces on deck 11, including a dedicated open-air youth area with recreational games, a shallow pool and spaces for families to spend time together.
There will also be an enlarged Waves Teen Centre – the biggest venue for guests aged 13 to 17 on any Crystal ship – which will feature an entertainment lounge with an oversized screen for gaming and movies, an area for card and board game areas, and a dance floor.

Meanwhile, guests aged between three and 12 will be able to participate in supervised activities at Fantasia Children’s Playroom, which will have a refreshed design.
Crystal will also introduce its first private cabanas on deck 11. The two-person cabanas will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and overlook the Seahorse Pool on deck 10.

The Seahorse Pool, which will be the largest in the Crystal fleet, will be surrounded by pool loungers and also have an expansive outdoor LED screen for showing live sports, movies and destination programming. Crystal will also add a new bar behind the main pool area.

“Crystal Grace represents the future of exceptional luxury travel while honouring the elements our guests cherish most,” said Bernie Leypold, Crystal’s senior vice president of hotel operations. “As more families and multiple generations choose to travel together, we have thoughtfully expanded our offerings for younger guests while enhancing the outdoor spaces that make life at sea so memorable. These new venues create opportunities for connection, adventure and relaxation for guests of every age.”
