With cruise operations around the word paused due to the Covid-19 outbreak, Crystal Cruises is now offering a new virtual programme, Crystal@Home: A Virtual Cruise Experience.

“We often say that our guests are family, and we miss our Crystal Family and we know that they miss exploring the world,” said Carmen Roig, Crystal Cruises’ senior vice president of marketing and sales. “Just as our guests feel at home aboard our ships, we want them to be able to enjoy their favourite elements of a Crystal vacation from their own homes. Our guests’ interests are varied and broad, and the Crystal@Home program speaks to that individuality. It also unites us over a common love of travel and the Crystal Experience during this challenging time.”

A weekly virtual voyage will be featured across a range of digital social media platforms, with a revolving roster of events. Among the highlights will be ‘Destination of the Week’, an event highlighting destinations visited by the cruise line’s ships; Sunday Cooking with Chef Jon Ashton, a weekly cooking series in which the guest chef will host demonstrations for featured dishes; Storyteller Monday with the Crystal Storytellers podcast, the first podcast by a cruise line, and Wellness Wednesday, featuring fitness tips from Crystal’s instructors.
