Luxury operator Crystal Cruises is to celebrate its 30th anniversary with a collection of commemorative itineraries and a year-long calendar of events and celebrations onboard its ocean and river cruise ships in 2020.

First launched on 24 July 1990 when Crystal Harmony embarked on a 12-day cruise between the US cities of San Francisco and Alaska, Crystal Cruises has created 30 anniversary itineraries spanning its ocean, river, yacht and expedition fleets.

The voyages will range from seven to 16 nights and will take guests to destinations in Asia, the Arabian Peninsula, the Middle East and India, the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, the Adriatic, the Caribbean, Mexican Riviera, the Seychelles and the South Pacific.

“We are immensely proud of Crystal’s legacy of offering luxury travellers the very best experiences in the world for 30 years, and are grateful to the world travellers who have journeyed with us and the travel advisors who have been integral to our success along the way,” said Tom Wolber, Crystal’s president and CEO. “While many of our guests have been on this journey with Crystal since the beginning, the Crystal Family continues to grow with each new voyage. It’s our pleasure to celebrate this milestone with travellers in a meaningful way – with great value and the opportunity to experience all the diverse travel experiences Crystal now offers.”

All guests booked on selected sailings will be able to participate in special events and receive commemorative gifts, such as 30th anniversary pin, a wine stopper, personalised luggage tags, and a cookbook featuring specialities from Crystal’s globally inspired menus.
