Cruise operations have restarted in Klaipeda, Lithuania, with the arrival of Phoenix Reisen’s Artania after a break of almost 18 months.

Artania arrived with over 660 passengers onboard, all of which were fully vaccinated. Guests were allowed to visit the city without restrictions, though shore excursions were organised in smaller groups to reduce risks.

Several further cruise calls at Klaipeda have been scheduled for the autumn, with Oceania Cruises’ Marina set to be the next ship to visit on 2 September. A total of 55 calls at the port have now been scheduled for 2022 and registration currently remains open.
