Cruise Ship Interiors Expo (CSIE) has announced additional speakers for this year’s event and outlined the key conference topics, which will include sustainability, design trends for 2021 and the use of colour.

Among those speaking at the event at the Miami Beach Convention Center on 18-20 June are: Petu Kummala, senior director of Design and Architecture at Carnival Cruise Line; George Scammell, director of Interior Design and Operations at Holland America Group and Princess Cruises; and Lisa McCabe, director of Refurbishment at Carnival Cruise Line.

Additional industry experts from Royal Caribbean, Norwegian Cruise Line, Carnival Cruise Line and Holland America Line will feature in a Leaders’ Debate and will give their insights on upcoming trends, opportunities and challenges faced by the cruise interiors industry.

“The need for a design-specific conference for the cruise industry has been long overdue,” said Michael Riotto, CEO of MRD Lighting. “I’m glad to be a part of this inaugural event and am looking forward to speaking alongside the other design leaders within the industry. Kudos to Toby and the team for hosting!”
