Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) has confirmed its 2027 conference will feature a refreshed format and be held on a new date: 13-15 May in Southampton, UK.
Key elements of the conference will remain, with business sessions split across two days, with day one held at King’s Conference Centre in Hedge End in Southampton, and day two onboard P&O Cruises’ Britannia. Delegates will also have the opportunity to tour either Celebrity Cruises’ Celebrity Apex or Princess Cruises’ Sky Princess on day three.
The trade fair will be extended to give delegates more time and opportunities for networking and will feature competitions and giveaways. Delegates can also choose from one of four new themed breakout workshops, each one supported by cruise line executives and designed to offer practical insights and action points to take away.
“Our annual conference continues to be incredibly popular with the trade, and we're always looking at how we can evolve it to deliver even more value,” said Andy Harmer, managing director of CLIA UK & Ireland. “The changes we’re introducing for 2027 have been shaped by delegate feedback, with more time for our business sessions and trade fair, new practical workshops and greater choice over how agents spend their time with us. At the same time, the ship visits, networking and access to cruise lines that make the conference so valuable remain firmly at its heart.
“Our aim is for every agent to leave Southampton with new knowledge and connections, as well as practical ideas they can put into action straight away. We’re already looking forward to welcoming everyone in May.”
Registration for the event opens on 8 October 2026 and details of the theme and keynote speakers will be announced in due course.
