Cruise Ship Interiors (CSI) Design Expo Europe is to host two main panel discussions – one focused on how to find design inspiration and another on how to create interiors for expedition cruise ships – when it takes place at London ExCel in the UK, on 29-30 November 2023.
The ‘Inspiration for beautiful design: case studies in materials and spaces’ keynote will be the only panel session to take place on day one of the event and will involve designers showcasing “unique and inspiring” newbuild and refurbishment projects. Meanwhile, the ‘Designing for adventure: spotlight on expedition cruise interiors’ session will see industry experts exploring how brands can create functional yet luxurious interiors for expedition cruise ships.
Delegates will also be able to attend sessions as part of the Conference & Workshop Programme, which will take place on exhibitor stands around the expo hall. All sessions will be Continuing Professional Development-certified, allowing professionals to gain developmental hours from attending each accredited session.
Speakers will include Gianluca Gugliotta, director of vessel refurbishment at Norwegian Cruise Line; Aida Lora, senior design associate at Royal Caribbean Group; Bob McGowan, head of operations at Ambassador Cruise Line; Sandra Correia da Silva, architect at Mystic Cruises; Alexander W. Höfling, managing director at Meyer RE; and Kristian Englund, senior architect at YSA Design and CEO at Ship Planner.
In addition, CSI Design Expo Europe offers visitors additional learning opportunities at the Meet the Brand Q&As and Project Management Lunch.
