Costa Cruises has partnered with intercity bus service FlixBus to offer passengers transfers to and from their ship.

Guests will now be able to add their transfer during the booking process from any of the European cities that FlixBus serves.

“We are excited about this new, unique partnership in our industry, which is going to make holidaying with Costa even more accessible,” said Mario Alovisi, vice president revenue management of Itinerary and transportation at Costa Cruises. “This agreement is crucial to us because it grants our guests a comfortable and smart service to start their holiday in the best way.”

The partnership will connect over 1,000 European destinations to the cities from which Costa’s cruise ships depart. Thirteen Italian harbours will now be serviced, along with 10 other European ports.

“Since its inception, it has been FlixBus’s mission to enable everyone to travel the world in a comfortable and affordable way,” said Pietro Polonini, head of global sales at FlixBus. “Connecting modes of transport in a smart way is crucial to making this mission a reality. Partnering with Costa Cruises, one of the leading players in the tourism sector, is a next step in offering travellers even more travel options.”
