Energy solutions provider Climeon has successfully conducted a factory acceptance test (FAT) for two of its Heat Power machines, which will be delivered to Havila Voyages.

The tests were completed remotely to assess that the machines are of acceptable quality. This allowed Climeon to reduce the operating costs and emissions associated with travelling to the facility to perform the tests in person, while Havila Voyages was able to increase attendance by its own team.

“We have performed high-quality remote FATs with Fincantieri, Havila Voyages, Lloyd's Register and Landmark throughout the pandemic,” said Climeon in a press release. “With agility and a little ingenuity, it is possible to offer global customers a remote FAT they can feel confident in.”
