CLIA updates Cruise Forward

The Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) has launched its updated Cruise Forward initiative and accompanying website.

Launched in 2012, the Cruise Forward programme was designed to educate and inform a broad range of stakeholders about the responsible practices of cruise lines, and their commitment to passenger and crew safety, the environment, and communities.

The accompanying website features informative landing pages with facts, frequently asked questions and the latest industry news in eight core issue areas.

“I encourage you to use these resources when communicating the positive stories about our industry to various stakeholders,” said Christine Duffy, CEO of CLIA, in an email. “Much of the content is formatted to be easily shareable via e-mail and social media. We’ll be updating the site regularly with the latest research and news, and we hope that it will serve as an important resource for you in 2015 and beyond.”
