French shipyard Chantiers de l’Atlantique has contracted Almaco to equip the galley areas onboard The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection’s upcoming ships Ilma and Luminara.

Almaco will provide a turnkey delivery of all galleys onboard, supplying and installing all 1,200 metres squared of gallery areas. It will also supply and install all of the equipment for the provision store areas, and deliver the refrigeration machinery system.

The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection has also signed a lifecycle service agreement with Almaco, which includes a pre-planned maintenance and supply of spare parts package.

“As always, it’s an honour and pleasure to be invited to join a project by our long-term partner Chantiers de l’Atlantique,” said Frédéric Vasseur, president of catering systems at Almaco. “We have a long track record of mutual successful projects, and I am confident this project will be a success too. We share the same process-driven and innovative mindset and commitment to research and development, and that’s what makes working together extra inspiring.”

Ilma and Luminara will debut in 2024 and 2025.
