Century Cruises is to launch a new river cruise ship on China’s Yangtze River in March 2022.

Century Oasis will be the ninth vessel in Century Cruises eco-friendly fleet and has been designed as a sister to both Century Glory and Century Victory. Like her sisters, the ship will have a propulsion system that has been developed to reduce her impact on the Yangtze River’s frail ecosystem. She will also make use of artificial intelligence and other technologies to enhance the onboard experience.

Onboard highlights will include two dining rooms serving dishes prepared by international chefs, the Cheers Bar and Lounge, a gym, a cinema with a high-definition screen, and a reading and mah-jong room.

The ship will also accommodate 650 guests in eight different cabin categories, 12 “palatial” suites on Deck 6, 12 “executive” suites on the Sun Deck and four suites with spacious balconies in the bow area. All accommodation will offer river views.

“We want to offer a tranquil and pleasant place away from the hustle and bustle of big cities, a home from home with the addition of thrilling excursions, exquisite food and spotless service,” said Century Cruises in a press release.

Century Cruises will launch two additional ships on the Yangtze River in September 2022 and March 2023.
