Celebrity Cruises is investing more than $250 million to refurbish its Solstice Series ships, starting with Celebrity Solstice in 2026.

Eight new experiences will be introduced onboard the ships, including four venues new to the Celebrity fleet, as well as a range of redesigned public spaces such as Café Al Bacio, Cellar Masters, Blu, and more. Guests will also be able to stay in new stateroom categories following a ship-wide refresh of onboard accommodation.

“Our Solstice Series ships represent the best of classic cruising, and now we’re elevating this vacation experience even further by adding brand new experiences and enhancements at every turn,” said Laura Hodges Bethge, president of Celebrity Cruises. “Guests will enjoy more ways to explore and restore, all while staying true to what made our guests fall in love with these ships in the first place.”

Two new dining venues will appear onboard Celebrity Solstice, including Italian restaurant Trattoria Rossa. The venue will feature a modern, yet opulent, design and will see chefs prepare dishes next to tables, including fresh pasts made from scratch daily. Fine Cut Steakhouse, which features onboard the Edge Series ships, will also be introduced to the Solstice Series, offering 30-day dry-aged steaks and fresh seafood.

The top deck of Celebrity Solstice will be transformed with the addition of the Sunset Park, a half-acre outdoor space that will offer food, cocktails, lawn games, open-air concerts and more. New private cabanas will also be added to outdoor spaces with dedicated attendants to take care of guests. The Sunset Bar, meanwhile, will be expanded.

A new entertainment venue, Boulevard Lounge, will also be added to the Solstice Series. The cabaret-inspired lounge will offer always-on programming, from interactive daytime activities like new game shows and trivia to evenings of candlelit concerts and duelling pianos. Steps away from the lounge, guests can drink handcrafted cocktails before or after the show at the Boulevard Bar.

Guests will also be able to grab a drink at the Celebrity Barcade, a new sports bar venue. Multiple screens are positioned around the space to allow guests to see the action from anywhere as they challenge their friends to a round of biulliards, darts or a retro board game.

The exclusive onboard area, The Retreat, will also be redesigned during the refurbishment. Suites in the area will be updated, while a new Retreat Sundeck will feature outdoor seating, shade and an oversized hot tub at the top of the ship. The Retreat Lounge, which offers light bites and drinks in an exclusive setting, will also be refreshed with a new design.

AquaClass Staterooms will be updated with spa-inspired elements throughout, including massaging shower heads, aroma therapy diffusers, in-room yoga mats, robes and slippers and a pillow menu. AquaClass guests will also enjoy complimentary access to the new Relaxation Lounge at The Spa.

The refurbished Celebrity Solstice will debut in March 2026 with Asia and Australia itineraries, followed by summer sailings in Alaska. In September 2026, Celebrity Solstice will also bring guests on a 110-night Grand Voyage from Canada to Southeast Asia.
