Carnival Miracle is to undergo an extensive two-week dry dock this spring as part Carnival Cruise Line’s Fun Ship 2.0 product enhancement initiative.

Following the dry dock, which will take place between 7 and 21 March, Carnival Miracle will feature the Caribbean-inspired Red Frog Pub, the vintage-themed cocktail ‘pharmacy’ Alchemy Bar, and the new Sports Bar.

The ship will also offer Cherry On Top store; the Spin U DJ academy; the Hasbro, The Game Show area; and the exclusive Seuss At Sea programme, which was developed in partnership with Dr. Seuss Enterprises. Guests can also enjoy live Playlist Productions’ performances of the 88 Keys, 80’s Pop To the Max, Getaway Island and Heart Of Soul shows.

“We’re really excited that the Fun Ship 2.0 product enhancement programme that began rolling out three years ago continues to bring innovative, fun and memorable dining, bar and entertainment options to the entire Carnival Cruise Line fleet, and to the millions of guests that sail with us annually,” said Mark Tamis, Carnival’s senior vice president of guest operations. “The exciting renovations on Carnival Miracle will also provide our valued travel agent partners with an exciting new cruise experience for their clients.”

The Fun Ship 2.0 innovations complement a wide range of existing onboard features including the Punchliner Comedy Club presented by George Lopez, a Serenity adults-only retreat, an American-style steakhouse, a nine-hole miniature golf course, a 14,500-square-foot health and wellness centre, and The Taste Bar.
