Carnival Cruise Line will take guests on a ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ 31-day cruise to visit three continents in 2024, taking guests from Australia to various destinations in Japan and Alaska before concluding in Seattle, Washington.

Carnival Luminosa’s 30-day itinerary departs Brisbane on 1 April 2024 and will include calls to Guam in the Pacific Ocean, as well as Okinawa, Hiroshima, Yokohama, Aomori and Kushiro in Japan. The vessel will then cross the Pacific Ocean to visit Juneau and Ketchikan in Alaska, then sail past the Hubbard Glacier before ending the cruise in Seattle on 1 May 2024.

Carnival Luminosa’s stop in Okinawa will mark the brand’s first-ever call there.

“This itinerary reads like a travel lover’s wish list,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line. “This transpacific voyage on Carnival Luminosa is a truly unique offering. As we continue to grow our fleet and our offerings, our team is taking every opportunity to create exceptional new experiences for our guests. This sailing is a perfect testament to that.”

The cruise is part of the brand’s Carnival Journeys programme, which includes longer and more varied sailings.
