Carnival Cruise Line will offer more than 50 Alaska itineraries in summer 2027 onboard Carnival Legend and Carnival Spirit, which will both homeport from Seattle, as well as Carnival Luminosa, which will be based in San Francisco.

Carnival Legend (pictured above) will reposition from Tampa, Florida, to Seattle on 4 April with a 16-day ‘Panama Canal’ voyage, which includes the cruise line’s first visit to Acapulco, Mexico, since 2010. The cruise also includes stops in Cartagena and Santa Marta in Colombia, and Cabo San Lucas in Mexico, as well as a full transit of the Panama Canal.

From 20 April, the 2,700-guest ship will offer over 20 week-long cruises to Alaska, which will include visits to Juneau, Ketchikan, Skagway, Tracy Arm Fjord and Victoria in British Columbia, Canada.

Carnival Luminosa will reposition from Sydney, Australia, to San Francisco with a 23-day ‘Transpacific Journeys’ voyage on 6 April 2027. This cruise will include stops in Suva in Fiji, Moorea and Papeete in French Polynesia, and Honolulu in Hawaii.

From 3 May, the 2,800-guest ship will offer 10-day Alaskan cruises calling at Juneau, Ketchikan, Skagway, Tracy Arm Fjord, and Prince Rupert in Canada. While homeporting in San Franciso, this ship will also offer several Baja Mexico cruises, including nine four-day sailings to Ensenada departing on Thursdays and returning on Mondays.

Carnival Spirit will sail two back-to-back Carnival Journeys cruises. The nine-day Western Caribbean itinerary will depart from Mobile, Alabama, on 20 March 2027, visiting Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Montego Bay and Isla Tropicale, before embarking on a 16-day Panama Canal voyage on 29 March. This journey includes a full canal transit and stops in Cartagena, Cabo San Lucas, and Puntarenas in Costa Rica. Carnival Spirit will also sail a 15-day itinerary to Hawaii on 29 April, which includes stops at all four major Hawaiian islands, plus Victoria in British Columbia.

From 29 April, the 2,700-guest ship will offer 20 seven-day cruises from to Alaskan ports, including Juneau, Ketchikan, Skagway, Tracy Arm Fjord and Victoria. An additional nine-day voyage includes a stop at the port of Sitka.

“At Carnival, our three-ship deployment continues to serve up the perfect blend of the Alaskan landscape’s breathtaking natural beauty and our signature Carnival fun,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line. “Cruising is truly the best way to see Alaska, which is why these itineraries remain extremely popular each year – and all-the-more reason why travellers plan Alaska cruises far in advance.”

In 2027, Carnival Cruise Line will also sail more than 50 new itineraries – a rotation of alternating six- and eight-day cruises – to the Mexican Riviera onboard Carnival Panorama as part of the ship’s year-round deployment from Long Beach, California. The six-day voyages include an extended stay to Cabo San Lucas, while the eight-day itinerary will call at Cabo San Lucas, La Paz, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta.
