Carnival Cruise Line is to name its third Vista-class ship Carnival Panorama when she debuts in November 2019.

Currently under construction at Fincantieri’s Marghera yard in Italy, the 3,954-guest newbuild will be a sister to Carnival Vista, which launched in 2016, and to Carnival Horizon, which will debut in April 2018. All three will be the largest-ever cruise ships to be built for Carnival.

Carnival Panorama will offer venues with both indoor and al fresco experiences, including the Fahrenheit 555 steakhouse, Library Bar and Bonsai Sushi, the bike-ride-in-the-sky attraction SkyRide, the outdoor WaterWorks aqua park and the SportSquare recreation area.

Other onboard highlights will include Cloud 9 Spa, the Ocean Plaza indoor and outdoor dining and entertainment venue, and the Havana accommodation area, which has tropics-inspired staterooms and its own Cuban-themed bar and pool. More featured will be revealed soon.

“Carnival Panorama is the perfect name to reflect the design inspiration of our Vista-class ships providing more venues and opportunities to connect with the sea,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line. “Carnival Panorama will offer a wide variety of fun indoor and outdoor experiences along with exciting one-of-a-kind features that will provide our guests with a lifetime of wonderful holiday memories.”

Carnival Panorama’s homeport and itinerary will be announced at a later date.
