Carnival Corporation has renewed its multi-year favoured customer contract (FCC) agreement with Seatrium Group, ensuring a number of its cruise vessels will dock at Seatrium’s facilities over the coming years for statutory inspections, maintenance, upgrades, revitalisations and retrofits.

The FCC agreement covers vessels in Carnival Corporation’s global portfolio of eight cruise lines, including AIDA Cruises, Carnival Cruise Line, Costa Cruises, Cunard, Holland America Line, Princess Cruises, P&O Cruises and Seabourn.

Seatrium will work on three cruise vessels in the fourth quarter of 2026: Princess Cruises’ Royal Princess and Carnival Cruise Line’s Carnival Luminosa in October, followed by Seabourn’s Encore in November. More vessels will dock at Seatrium’s yards between 2027 and 2029.

“Carnival Corporation has been a cornerstone of Seatrium's cruise business journey, and our first strategic partner in the highly sophisticated cruise segment back in 2010,” said Alvin Gan, executive vice president of repairs and upgrade at Seatrium. “Over the past 15 years, we have collaborated closely to deliver a broad range of complex maintenance, upgrades, and retrofit projects, underpinned by execution certainty, quality craftsmanship and uncompromising safety standards. We are proud to support the company’s growth and ambitions, and we thank Carnival Corporation for its trust and collaboration over the years.”

Vera Lannek, vice president of strategic sourcing and machinery lifecycle management at Carnival Corporation, said: “Seatrium has been a valued partner to Carnival Corporation, consistently demonstrating strong technical expertise, reliable execution and a commitment to quality and safety. As we continue to maintain and enhance our global fleet, it is essential that we work with partners who understand the demanding requirements of the cruise sector and can navigate complexity efficiently, on schedule and to the highest standards. We look forward to continuing our partnership with Seatrium as we advance long-term operational excellence of our brands and vessels worldwide.”
