Carnival Cruise Line has updated its Hub App to provide guests with a schedule of the daily onboard activities that are available to families and young passengers.

App users will be able to see a detailed, time-specific breakdown of activities taking place in Camp Ocean (for children aged 2-11), Circle C (for guests aged 12-14) and Club O2 (for passengers aged 15-17). They will also have access to check-in and check-out information.

Parents will be able to browse family-friendly entertainment programmes, such as the Build-A-Bear Workshop At Sea, Hasbro Game Show, Seuss at Sea, Zumbini music and movement classes, and the Punchliner Comedy Club. In addition, the app will provide information about the operating hours for the WaterWorks aqua parks, SportSquare outdoor recreation area and other open-air spaces.

Guests will also be able to receive reminders and updates by ‘liking’ their favourite activities.

“Our guests continue to be engaged and excited by our award-winning youth programs, and the Hub App now helps parents keep up with all of the fun in one easy-to-navigate area to plan their perfect vacation,” said Melissa Wisecarver, director of youth experience for Carnival Cruise Line. “We expect this to be an extremely popular feature for families that want to maximise the fun.”

First launched in 2015, Carnival's Hub App also allows guests to view food, beverage and entertainment offerings; have pizza and beverages delivered anywhere onboard their ship; book shore excursions; communicate with family and friends; and access their Sail & Sign account. Additional enhancements will be introduced in the coming months.

"We're always looking for ways to expand the capabilities of the Hub App and we're delighted to provide parents and families with this comprehensive overview of our offerings right at their fingertips,” said Alfredo Rojas, senior director of digital product and mobile for Carnival Cruise Line. “We have a lot more in store for the Hub App.”
