Beverage firsts for Equinox

Solstice-class Celebrity Equinox will be exiting her drydock in Cadiz, Spain, with one-of-a-kind beverage venues on 8 May.

The two new concepts onboard Celebrity Cruises’ 2,850-passenger vessel are Gastrobar, which will offer hand-crafted beer and cocktails, and Slush, which will serve frozen fruit drinks.

More than 40 boutique beers as well as a variety of wines and cocktails will accompany the bar menu at Gastrobar’s upscale-casual surroundings in the former Cellar Masters.

At Slush, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic fruit cocktails – including pressed lemon juice, raspberries, Florida Valencia orange, Persian lime, Hamlin orange juice with organic agave nectar, as well as cucumber and mint – will provide passengers with an expanded choice of icy options.

Signature spaces and experiences also feature in other parts of the ship. High-end portrait gallery, The Studio – Fine Art Photography, enables guests to capture their holiday photos. The Michael Kor boutique offers upscale, branded products including Chanel, Clinique, Dior, Lancôme, Estée Lauder, Desigual and UNOde50. The new iLounge replaces former Online@Celebrity as the internet space for passengers.

The new-look Celebrity Equinox will be sailing four different seven-night Mediterranean voyages from 15 June.
