Azamara Cruises has announced its 2027 Alaska Cruisetours, combining Alaskan cruises with guided pre- and post-cruise land tours across Alaska and Western Canada.
The 2027 Alaska Cruisetours pair time at sea with inland exploration, allowing guests to visit wilderness areas, observe wildlife, and engage with regional cultures within a single itinerary. Each programme includes hotels, transfers, luggage handling, escorted tours, selected meals, and admissions. Cruisetours are available in four-, five- and six-night options and are offered in conjunction with Azamara’s 10- and 11-night Alaska sailings.
The ‘Alaska Explorer’ cruisetour, available as a pre- or post-cruise option, covers Denali, Talkeetna, and the Chena River, with experiences including a historic sternwheeler cruise, gold panning, a Tundra Wilderness Tour in Denali National Park, a Deluxe Dome Railcar journey, a Talkeetna jet boat excursion, and programming at the Alaska Native Heritage Center.
The ‘Canadian Rockies’ cruisetour is available with Rocky Mountaineer GoldLeaf or SilverLeaf service, both featuring rail travel through the Canadian Rockies with stops at Banff National Park, Lake Louise, and Moraine Lake, offering panoramic viewing, onboard meals, and scenic gondola excursions.
The ‘Banff, Lake Louise and Whistler’ cruisetour, offered as a pre-cruise option, spans six nights from Calgary to Vancouver, including scenic drives through the Rockies, wildlife viewing, and guided tours. Select Cruisetours are paired with transpacific sailings from northern Japan, allowing guests to combine Japanese destinations with inland exploration of Alaska and the Canadian Rockies.
“These Cruisetours provide extended inland itineraries in combination with Alaska sailings,” said Shandra Stoeterau, director of land product development at Azamara Cruises. “The 2027 programmes maintain integrated logistics across land and sea segments.”
