Aroya Cruises will sail a series of summer cruises in the Mediterranean this year following the success of its inaugural season in the region in 2025.
Galataport Istanbul in Turkey will serve as homeport for the cruise line’s 151,000gt vessel, AROYA. The ship will offer two seven-night itineraries with stops in Turkey, the Greek islands and Alexandria on Egypt’s Mediterranean coast.
AROYA will reposition to Istanbul on 29 May with an eight-night voyage, calling at Sharm El Sheikh and Ain Sokhna in Egypt before transiting the Suez Canal. It will then sail Turkey’s coastline, with visits to Antalya and Bodrum ahead of arriving in Istanbul.
“Aroya Cruises’ return to the Mediterranean builds on the strong response to our first summer in the region and reflects the continued appeal of a cruise offering that brings together renowned destinations and a distinctly Arabian experience at sea,” said Sture Myrmell, president of Aroya Cruises, which was launched in June 2023 by Cruise Saudi. “With seven-night itineraries from Galataport Istanbul and a special Jeddah-to-Istanbul voyage through the Suez Canal, this season combines destination variety, ease of travel and the signature hospitality that defines AROYA. We look forward to welcoming guests onboard this summer for a journey shaped by AROYA’s ‘Remarkably Arabian’ service and onboard experience.”
