Almaco is to design and install luxury cabins and catering spaces in guest and crew areas onboard SeaDream Yacht Club’s first-ever newbuild ultra-luxury mega yacht, SeaDream Innovation.

The company will deliver and install all 114 luxury passenger cabins and corridors, 110 crew cabins and crew public areas, and all catering areas of the vessel including galleys, provision stores and laundries. Design work will start immediately.

“We are proud to start our partnership with Damen on this revolutionary expedition vessel for SeaDream Yacht Club,” said Esko Karvonen, president and CEO of Almaco. “Damen is a highly reputable shipyard group known for its innovation and customer service, and we look forward to working together on their interesting projects.”

SeaDream Innovation has been designed to introduce the concept of ‘global yachting’ and will be the first cruise vessel to be built by Damen Shipyards Group’s new venture Damen Cruise. Construction of the 155-metre-long mega yacht will begin this October at Damen’s new shipyard in Mangalia, Romania, which was set up as a joint venture with the Government of Romania.

Following her debut in September 2021, SeaDream Innovation will sail a range of all-inclusive itineraries to all seven continents in her inaugural year. The ship will visit a total of more than 200 ports in 49 countries.
