The French port of Le Havre opened its 2015 cruise season with a call from AIDA Cruises’ AIDAmar on 3 March.

In the 2015 season, which will close on 23 November, the port will handle a total of 100 cruise visits, including 17 doubles and one triple call.

Le Havre will welcome inaugural calls from 11 vessels including Princess Cruises’ Regal Princess, MSC Cruises’ MSC Splendida and MSC Sinfonia, Celebrity Cruises’ Celebrity Silhouette, Royal Caribbean International’s Serenade of the Seas and Explorer of the Seas, Costa Cruises’ Costa Favolosa, Gann and TUI Cruises’ Mein Schiff 4. The port will also handle maiden visits from Saga Holidays’ Saga Sapphire and Royal Caribbean International’s newbuild Anthem of the Seas, which will call three and six times respectively.

Meanwhile, Costa has scheduled several repositioning cruises to enable guests to embark on their ships at Le Havre.
