Spain-based engineering company ADELTE has installed a new seaport passenger boarding bridge (SPBB) at Flynn Cruiseport Boston Cruise Terminal in Massachusetts, USA.

The mobile HYDRA SPBB is designed to provide passengers with a safe, efficient and weather-protected boarding experience while offering ports operational flexibility and efficiency.

The SPBB has a double boarding cabin to help speed up the embarkation and disembarkation processes.

ADELTE assembled the SPBB at the Port of Barcelona in Spain, then transported it across the Atlantic to be installed at the port. It was first used by cruise passengers on 5 July 2026.
