Azamara Cruises will sail 68 cruises to destinations across Europe, Asia and the Americas in 2027, as well as six Grand Voyages ranging from 35 to 41 nights in length.
The cruise line will return to Dartmouth and Fowey in the UK for the first time since 2009 and 2018 respectively. These historic ports are only accessible to smaller ships.
“As demand grows for more immersive and authentic travel in the UK market, our summer 2027 deployment reflects Azamara’s unwavering focus on creating experiences that connect guests with the heart of each destination,” said David Duff, managing director UK and EMEA at Azamara Cruises. “We’ve carefully curated itineraries that blend iconic landmarks with unexpected discoveries, allowing our travellers to forge deeper connections wherever they sail.”
The six Grand Voyages will visit multiple countries and continents with itineraries including Miami in Florida to Venice in Italy; Copenhagen in Denmark to New York in the USA; Kobe in Japan to Vancouver in Canada; and Athens in Greece to Lisbon in Portugal.
In spring 2027 guests onboard Azamara Pursuit will have the opportunity to experience Japan’s cherry blossom season during calls at both northern and southern ports including Hiroshima, Kanazawa, Tokyo and Kobe.
Azamara’s new European itineraries will provide guests with access to world-famous events including the Monaco Grand Prix and Edinburgh’s Military Tattoo. Almost half of the itineraries will include late nights or overnight port stays, which will enable guests to explore after dark independently or as part of an exclusive AzAmazing Evening. During summer 2027, 89 overnight stays and 381 late nights will be available to Azamara guests.
The summer 2027 itineraries will also include 22 new PerryGolf and 10 new country-intensive cruises with expanded shore excursions and overnight land programmes to enable guests to more thoroughly explore a single country’s culture and coastline.
“The 2027 summer sailings will be our most diverse yet, continuing to demonstrate Azamara’s commitment to immersive, enriching travel,” said Michael Pawlus, head of itinerary planning at Azamara Cruises. “From returning to beloved UK ports to sailings timed with iconic events, summer 2027 is all about delivering meaningful, in-depth travel experiences. Our Grand Voyages are the epitome of our ‘destination immersion elevated’ ethos – designed for curious travellers who want to see more, stay longer and dive deeper into every destination, all while enjoying the intimate atmosphere and personalised service of our small ships.”
